Να καλύψουμε το κενό ενημέρωσης και πρόληψης αναφορικά με τη σεξουαλική υγεία, τη χρήση ψυχοδραστικών ουσιών κυρίως σε νεανικές ηλικίες που συναντάμε στην ηλεκτρονική μουσική σκηνή αλλά και σε αυτούς που χρησιμοποιούν συνδυαστικά sex και ουσίες (chemsex) αλλά και σε ευπαθείς και κοινωνικά αποκλεισμένους πληθυσμούς.

Generation Act — Safer Nightlife & Harm Reduction

Generation Act provides harm-reduction services across party events, festivals, queer clubs, and other nightlife environments. Our focus is on young people who participate in entertainment and nightlife settings, particularly within the techno, psychedelic, and electronic music scenes, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background.

The need for our organization arose from personal experience and related research, revealing that these communities often engage in recreational drug use, and that such environments can serve as gateways to experimentation with substances. Our primary goal is to make accessible the information and tools that enable individuals to make safer, informed decisions. In the long term, we aspire to cultivate a healthier, more conscious party culture among Greek youth.

Generation Act was founded by members of the very community we serve—individuals with both first-hand experience and professional expertise in harm reduction, public health, and nightlife safety.

Our field services include:

•Informational flyers on safer drug use and sexual practices

•Distribution of condoms, cards, stickers, and paraphernalia

•On-site peer-to-peer support for individuals experiencing side effects from substance use

•Provision of essential items such as salt, sugar, electrolytes and gum

Our website serves as a comprehensive resource offering information on substances, their effects, safer-use practices, and potential side effects, as well as materials related to sexual health, consent, and safety in nightlife. We apply evidence-based best practices, following the example of similar harm-reduction initiatives in Greece and abroad. At the core of our philosophy lies a person-centered, non-judgmental approach, meeting the community where it stands—both literally and figuratively
